Your preconception diet may influence baby’s sex. Here are some dietary tips and foods to eat to create an environment conducive to conceive a baby girl.
It does seem that X-bearing sperm prefer an acidic vaginal environment, which is where the correlation between diet and gender selection comes in. Making the environment more acidic means the fitter female sperm are more likely to survive and a baby girl is conceived.
However, more research is needed to confirm the effectiveness of these suggestions.
Acidic diet to conceive a girl
- Most dairy products, including pasteurized cheese and yogurt
- High protein foods such as fish, seafood, meat, and eggs
- Processed foods high in salt
- Granola
- Cookies & cakes, bread, crackers, pasta, white rice and starchy food
- Carbonated beverages: Soda, seltzer, or spritzers
- Alcohol, coffee, black tea, energy drinks, and pasteurized juice
- Some nuts & seeds
