We all need omega 3 fatty acids like DHA. They are essential to health throughout our entire life spans. During pregnancy, our need for omega-3s increases even more. Fish that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids include mackerel, salmon, trout, kippers, anchovies, and sardines. If you don’t eat fish, and decide to take a fish oil supplement, make sure that the supplement you take is suitable for pregnant women.
