Constipation is a common problem during pregnancy. To remedy this, it is advisable to drink plenty of fluids and eat foods rich in fiber (e.g., fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grain breads and cereals). If the problem persists, try to include a small bowl of cereal bran in your breakfast every day. If you are still not eliminating as you normally would, talk to your doctor.

In addition, moderate physical activity during pregnancy is recommended. It may help keep your weight gain in check and solve your constipation problems.
