Nutrition Top Tip – Week 3

Eat more: NO! Eat better: YES! Eating foods with many calories but few vitamins and minerals can lead to excess weight gain and health problems for you and baby.

Simple choices will prevent you from putting on too much weight: Eat fruits and vegetables each day, cut back on refined carbohydrates and saturated fats (e.g., pizzas, pastries, deep-fried foods, sweetened sodas) and simply stay active.
